4/18/2024 0 Comments Stardew valley day fish guide![]() ![]() Go South, across the bridges to the Southwest, and swing by to check for Spring Onions.Head South from the Farm into the Forest.Dump everything into your chest except your Axe & Scythe.If you need to pass time, clear grass/weeds with your Scythe.When chopping trees, only chop the trunk (10 swings)-don't waste time/energy chopping the stump.Collect Wood (x50) craft a chest and place it by your farmhouse.Turn on Auto-Run, turn on the tool indicators, and zoom out. Open the game menu and adjust your settings.If you aren't familiar with a location (e.g., where someone's house is), use the map in the inventory menu to find it. I try to give specific times where they're helpful for guidance. The times provided are somewhat approximate (though careful approximations!), especially in the afternoon portion. (Willy is out of town till Day 2, so you can complete the quest then.) This also has the benefit of giving you a tour of most of the main map Meet almost every villager to knock out most of the "Introductions" quest.It's a good way to get comfortable with the game. If you don't hit everything on the checklist just rerun the day until you do (to restart the day without saving, quit out instead of going to sleep). But nevertheless, I hope it might prove useful in getting through that first day with confidence that you're well set-up for the season. This is not a full-feature beginner's guide, just a guide/checklist of what to do when on Day 1. So I thought it might be helpful to draw up a clear step-by-step guide to Day 1, at least so I can link it when I see that kind of question in the future.
